Hillsdale Spring Travel Program
The Spring Travel season usually consists of a minimum of 8 games in addition to, and outside the HBSA rec schedule. These games are usually played on Sundays and you can count on 1-2 practices per week. Participation in Spring Travel Baseball requires a commitment from both the player and family.
HBSA supports Spring Travels teams for ages 8-12. Each age group has their own team(s).
Spring Travel baseball is very different from our HBSA rec program.
Travel is far more competitive than our rec season, playing different towns.
Participation depends on the rules governing each league.
Skills and techniques taught during the travel season are more advanced.
Costs for league entry, umpires and uniforms are incremental to the HBSA rec fees and are payable prior to the start of the season.
The deadline to submit teams for the Spring league is prior to the start of our rec season. To avoid tryouts and the necessity for making cuts, HBSA needs to have all commitments by February 29th, 2012. The intention is to submit teams to support all kids interested in playing in this competitive environment.
If your child wishes to play Spring Travel Baseball, please fill in the information below. Registrants after this deadline will not be placed on a Spring Travel roster.
